What membership means
The Association belongs to its members. Members of the Association have access to our training and conferences, information, advice, advocacy, and other support services and resources. They also vote for our Board and help to shape our direction through resolutions passed each year at the AGM.
The benefits of membership
A major benefit of membership is the effective representation of your views and concerns to government policy and decision makers, and general engagement with the broader Australian community sector. Staff and elected Board members also contribute on behalf of member services to state and national forums addressing issues relevant to ageing, disability, carers, volunteers and the HACC programme. In addition, the Association constantly works to maintain and promote the positive image of “Meals on Wheels” in the media and with the general public.

Becoming a member of the Association
Any Food Service organisation can be a Member of the Association. Other community-based organisations can apply for Associate Member status.
