About us

Leeton Shire Meals on Wheels is funded by the Home and Community Care Program (HACC) and auspiced by Leeton Shire Council. The aim of our service is to enable people to continue to live comfortably in their home.

Our Services

Daily meals delivered Monday to Friday, including public holidays.

The meal package consists of:

• Main meal, dessert, and juice – $6.50* per day.

Frozen Meals These meals are delivered on Thursdays.

The cost is:
$4.70* per meal
$1.20* per dessert
$1.60* per soup

• Prices are current and are subjected to change.

Referral Support and Information

We provide referrals and information on a range of issues.
Please contact us if you would like further information on local services providing transport, home nursing, or home care.

Delivery Times

Our service delivers Monday to Friday, including public holidays.
You can order frozen meals to cover weekends (must be ordered a week in advance).

Contact the Food Services Coordinator to obtain a list of the meals that are available for you to choose from.

Sample Menu

Please speak with the Coordinator for a current menu.
We can cater for people with diabetes, gluten intolerances, chewing or swallowing difficulties. The Coordinator can also help with any specialist dietary requirements.

How to pay

Clients receive a monthly account and can pay with cash, cheque or postal note.

How to volunteer
Are you, or someone you know, interested in becoming a volunteer?
If so please call the Service Coordinator on 02 6953 6660.

Volunteers are needed for morning deliveries Monday to Friday.
You don’t need a driving licence in order to help, just spare time and community spirit!
