About us

Campbelltown Meals on Wheels is a Food Service which provides delivered meals seven days per week, as well as a shopping service, a housebound library service, and a visitor service for people who are frail/aged, have a disability or care for someone who is in these categories. We are funded by the Department for Ageing, Disability and Home Care under the Home and Community Care Program.

Our Services

Meals are delivered five days per week, with frozen meals available for the weekend and public holidays.

Chilled meals enable the client to heat the meal when required.
Hot meals delivered hot to be eaten immediately.
Frozen meals delivered frozen on a day nominated by the client (Monday to Friday)
Special diets e.g. diabetic, vegetarian, likes and dislikes.

Delivery Area

Campbelltown Local Government Area, plus Appin.

Delivery Times

Meal Service Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
Shopping Service Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
Housebound Library Service Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (once a fortnight) between 9.00am and 12.00 noon.
Visitor Service Monday to Friday, day and times arranged between the client and volunteer.

Various Chinese meals, e.g. Beef & Black Bean Sauce Gourmet meals, e.g. Grilled Atlantic Salmon

How to pay

Weekly accounts are paid in cash or cheque to the volunteer each Tuesday, or can be sent by mail to family members or others.

More Information

Campbelltown Meals on Wheels is managed by a community-based volunteer committee which is elected annually.

The day to day operations are carried out by paid staff, but many of the services are provided by volunteers.
